This light - curing device helps to cure light sensitive filling material.

Soft tissue management for general tissue care, we provide combined ultrasonic cleaning with antimicrobials, disinfecting, and desensitizing solution for better patient safety and comfort.

Local anaesthetic delivery system with very fine needle makes injection almost painless.

• We are now using autoclaving machine, a dental sterilizer that processes instruments faster and more effectively then before.
• In an autoclave instruments are subjected to pressurized stem at 121 - 134 degree centigrade for 15 to 20 minutes and then left in their protective packaging until they are needed.

Vaccine for dental health - care workers

• All the health workers in the dental unit who might be exposed to blood or blood contaminated substance are vaccinated with Hepatitis B vaccine.
• Dental health care workers are at risk for exposure to and possible transmission of other vaccine-preventable diseases therefore accordingly vaccination against influenza, measles, mumps, rubella, and tetanus is recommended.

• Hand hygiene or hand washing is performed either with a non-antimicrobial or antimicrobial soap and water when hand is visibly dirty or contaminated with blood or other potentially infectious material.
• If hands are not visibly soiled, an alcohol - based hand rub is used.
• Hand lotion is used to prevent skin dryness associated with hand washing.
• Finger nails are kept short and smooth.
• No hand and nail jewelry allowed while working.

• For protection of personal and patients in dental-care setting.
• Chin length plastic face shield or surgical mask and protective eyewear are won when splashing or spattering of blood or other body fluid is likely to occure.
• Protective clothing such as reusable gowns, laboratory coats, or uniform are won when clothing is likely going to get soiled with blood or body fluids.
• Impervious plastic covers are used to protect items and surface (e.g. light handles, x-ray unit head etc) during use and changed between every patient.
• Appropriate rubber dams and high velocity air evacuation are used during treatment to minimize droplets, spatter and aerosols.

Disposable syringe and needle, scalpel blades and other sharp items are used and disposed safely in puncture - resistant containers.

• Non critical instrument or medical devices such as external component of x-ray heads that come in contact only with intact skin have relatively low risk of transmitting infection so are reprocessed between patients with intermediate - level or low level disinfection.
• All critical and semicritical dental instruments that are heat stable are sterilized routinely between uses by stem and pressure in an autoclave.

• After treatment of each patient counter tops and dental unit surface that may have been contaminated with patient material are cleaned with appropriate cleaning agent and water as necessary. Surface then are disinfected with suitable chemical germicide.
• Chair water lines are disinfected with suitable chemical germicide directed by the manufacturer.
• Low - level disinfectants or hospital disinfectants are used for general house keeping purpose such as cleaning floor, walls, and other house keeping surfaces.

Laboratory material and other items that have been used in the mouth (e.g. impression, orthodontic appliance, bite registration etc) are cleaned and disinfected before being manipulated in the laboratory, whether an on site or remote location.
